The prognostic scores presented on this website are intended for research and educational purposes and should be interpreted with caution.
All Brain Prognostic Index (BPI) models were developed using retrospective datasets. To date, only the ALK-BPI has undergone external validation. The remaining models (SRS-BPI, KRAS-BPI, and EGFR-BPI) have been internally validated only. Moreover, the EGFR-BPI model has not yet undergone peer review.
As with any prognostic model, estimated survival outcomes represent population-based statistical predictions and may not accurately reflect the clinical course of an individual patient. These tools should be used to support, not replace, clinical judgment and multidisciplinary decision-making.
